STEVEN J. BRADY, CHAIRMAN

Ensco

Steven J. Brady joined Ensco in 2002 and was appointed to his current position of Senior Vice President – Eastern Hemisphere in December 2014. Prior to his current position, Mr Brady served as Senior Vice President – Western Hemisphere, Vice President – Europe and Mediterranean, General Manager – Middle East and Asia Pacific, and in other leadership positions in the Eastern Hemisphere. Prior to joining Ensco, Mr Brady spent 18 years in various technical and managerial roles for ConocoPhillips in locations around the world. Mr Brady holds a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Mississippi State University.

KEVIN A. NEVEU, VICE CHAIRMAN

Precision Drilling Corp

Kevin A. Neveu is President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Precision Drilling and has held these positions since joining the company in 2007. Mr Neveu has 35 years of experience in the oilfield services sector, holding technical, marketing, management and senior leadership positions over his career. Previously, Mr Neveu was President of the Rig Solutions Group of National Oilwell Varco in Houston and held senior management positions with it and its predecessor companies in London, Moscow, Houston, Edmonton and Calgary.

Mr Neveu currently serves as a Director of Finning International and is a former board member of Bonanza Creek Energy and Rig Net. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta and an Advisor for the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy. Mr Neveu holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta and is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Alberta. He has also completed the Harvard Advanced Management Program in Boston, Mass.

SCOTT MCREAKEN, SECRETARY/TREASURER

Sevan Drilling

Scott McReaken was appointed CEO of Sevan Drilling in November 2013. He previously worked at Seadrill as Finance Director, Americas Region. He has been responsible for supervising operations and financing for Sevan Drilling on behalf of Seadrill. Prior to Seadrill, Mr McReaken held various management positions at Vantage Drilling and Pride International in Houston and Luanda, Angola.

Before working in the contract drilling industry, he provided audit, assurance and advisory services as an internal auditor at Arthur Andersen. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.

2018 IADC DIVISION VICE PRESIDENTS

TERRY B. BONNO, DIVISION VP OFFSHORE

Transocean

Terry B. Bonno was appointed Senior Vice President, Industry and Community Relations of Transocean in 2017. Before being named to her current position, Ms Bonno served as Senior Vice President, Marketing since 2008 and prior to that, as Director, Marketing Americas. She has 35 years of industry experience, including 17 years with Applied Drilling Technology and two years with R&B Falcon Corp’s Turnkey Group as Director of Marketing and Contracts. Ms Bonno has spent 16 years at Transocean, where she has served in various management positions in accounting, corporate planning and marketing, including as Manager Sales and Contracts Turnkey, Manager Asset Sales and Senior Sales Representative North America. She also served as a Marketing Manager in the company’s Europe and Africa Unit.

Ms Bonno is a director of DistributionNOW and Tampnet. She is a CPA and holds a BBA-Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University.

MIKE GARVIN, DIVISION VP NORTH AMERICA ONSHORE

Patterson-UTI Energy

Mike Garvin is Senior Vice President, Operations Support at Patterson-UTI Drilling Co, a subsidiary of Patterson-UTI LLC. Prior to joining Patterson-UTI, Mr Garvin spent three years with Ensco as a Senior Deepwater Operations Manager. Prior to that, he spent 27 years with GlobalSantaFe and its predecessor and successor companies, Global Marine and Transocean, holding various operations and support leadership positions. In 2016, Mr Garvin was named IADC Contractor of the Year in recognition of his considerable contributions to IADC and the drilling industry as a whole.

Mr Garvin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from California Polytechnic State University. He has accumulated 37 years of experience in the upstream sector of the energy business, exploring and drilling for oil, gas and geothermal energy on land and offshore on six continents.

JAMES THORN, DIVISION VP INTERNATIONAL ONSHORE

James (Jim) Thorn has more than 20 years of experience in the international drilling contractor industry. He previously served as Chief Commercial Officer of Egyptian Drilling Company and has held executive and senior management roles in commercial and operational positions in Trinidad Drilling, Schlumberger and Weatherford. Mr Thorn has international experience in regions such as the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America. boards.

He is originally from the United Kingdom and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Strathclyde.

LEE WOMBLE, DIVISION VP DRILLING SERVICES

Cameron, a Schlumberger company

Lee Womble is Vice President of Sales for the Cameron Drilling Systems Product Line of Schlumberger, with global responsibility for sales of capital equipment, projects, complete rig solutions and rig upgrades, along with global accounts management. He joined Cameron in 1988 as a Product Design Engineer after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He received his registered Professional Engineer license from the state of Texas in 1993 and obtained his first patent in 1994. He has since managed engineering, repair operations, manufacturing, field service and sales.

Mr Womble has held numerous positions throughout his 29-year career, including Design Engineer, Repair and Sales Manager, Regional Manager, Director and now Vice President since 2007. He has lived and worked in locations such as the US, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Indonesia and Malaysia and has served on committees for API, AADE, IADC and the Joint Industry Task Force.

JASON MCFARLAND, PRESIDENT

IADC

Jason McFarland serves as the association’s President. He previously held the dual positions of Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief of Staff. Mr McFarland graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston – Downtown Campus with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He has served in numerous capacities during his career at IADC, including management and oversight of the association’s publications and membership departments; staff support for the Ethics, Contracts and Technical Publications committees; and liaison for IADC’s global network of chapters.
