A Call for Presentations has been issued for LAGCOE 2017, which will be held 24-26 October in Lafayette, La. To be considered, a presentation must be technical in nature, of high significance to the energy industry and relevant to the current market. Although the main audience is engineering or technical personnel, presentations aimed at another business function will be considered and marketed as such. Sales pitches will not be considered. Click here to access applications to submit technical presentations. The deadline to submit technical presentations is 10 April. LAGCOE’s technical program is sponsored by Drilling Contractor.

“The LAGCOE 2017 Technical Sessions Committee is pleased to offer companies the opportunity to showcase their innovative spirit through both the new Call for Presentations and our well-known New Technology Showcase Program,” stated Kenny Crouch, LAGCOE chairman of the Board.

LAGCOE 2017 will include speakers on a variety of topics, including the value of the midstream market; the significance of Louisiana’s maritime industry; international business opportunities; a showcase of proven new technology; up and coming energy innovations and current academic R&D from top universities.

The New Technology Showcase Program is a dedicated technical session recognizing exhibitors’ forward-thinking solutions in which they present a brief overview of a recent innovation or technological advancement. This forum will allow companies an opportunity to showcase directly to industry leaders and LAGCOE attendees.

Eligible companies are encouraged to submit an application on behalf of a new product, tool or service. All technologies will be reviewed by a panel of judges, who will evaluate submissions based on the five criteria of new; innovative; proven; broad interest; and significant impact. These criteria serve as an all-inclusive standard that measures the value of each submitted technology. Click here for applications. The deadline to apply is 30 June.
