Atwood’s Holloway receives Exemplary Service Award

Larry Holloway, operations manager for Atwood Offshore Drilling in Bangkok, Thailand, was the recipient of an IADC Exemplary Service Award presented at the IADC Well Control Asia Pacific 2009 Conference and Exhibition in Bangkok.

Mr Holloway began working in the offshore drilling industry in 1973, working his way up from a roustabout to Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) on several types of mobile offshore units in many areas of the world. Prior to his present assignment, he was the Gulf Coast operations manager for Atwood Oceanics in Houston.

Mr Holloway has been extremely active in promoting IADC’s activities in Southeast Asia, including participating in the organization of numerous IADC conferences in the region.
