Halliburton launches service to provide integrated, custom drilling solutions

Halliburton launched its new Drilling Engineering Solutions service yesterday at the 2014 IADC/SPE Drilling Conference in Fort Worth, Texas. It brings together technical experts located in Drilling Engineering Solutions Centers around the world who work to integrate capabilities from across the Halliburton organization. The goal is to create custom solutions to meet the varying challenges encountered in today’s complex drilling projects, particularly in deepwater. In this video interview from the Drilling Conference, Akshay Sagar, Business Manager, Drilling Systems and Solutions for Halliburton’s Sperry Drilling business unit, explains how his company has grouped solutions into three primary categories to ensure they’re fit for purpose: risk mitigation, drilling efficiency and productivity maximization.
