Scott Gordon is new IADC Contracts Committee chairman

 Scott Gordon, Unit Texas Drilling, has been chosen as the new chairman of the IADC Contracts Committee, succeeding Dave Faure, Transocean. Mr Gordon has previously served as vice chairman  – land of the committee. In that capacity, he led an extensive review of the 1998 US land model contract forms, which resulted in the 2003 version, still in use today.

DC, IADC materials to be available at Offshore Europe

 IADC materials and the July/August 2009 issue of Drilling Contractor will be distributed at the 2009 Offshore Europe, 8-11 September in Aberdeen. The stand will be located in the arena facing Stand #388. Drilling Contractor also will be available at the Atlantic Communication stand (#584).

The July/August edition of DC will highlight Innovations While Drilling, European drilling outlook, well control, completions, and other topics.
