The rig crew on Oman KCA DEUTAG’s Rig T-78 celebrates achieving one year without a single recordable injury.

Oman KCA DEUTAG reached a major milestone in its 46-year history in October this year: For the first time, the company has completed one year without a recordable injury. This was accomplished with the operation of eight rigs and a Muscat base office, comprising more than 2.5 million manhours worked and more than 800 employees, including subcontractors.

Oman KCA DEUTAG has now worked more than 5.7 million manhours without hurting anybody. The company attributes this achievement to a companywide dedication to safety and support by its client Petroleum Development Oman.
