ADIPEC 2017 offers networking, business opportunities for oil and gas professionals worldwide

Each year, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) provides an avenue for industry professionals to convene, conduct business and share experiences and lessons learned. This year’s conference, to be held 13-16 November, will be no different, with more than 2,200 exhibiting companies – including 16 leading international oil companies (IOCs) and 18 leading national oil companies (NOCs) – anticipated to attend.

For exhibitors, the event serves as a platform to showcase their latest technologies and solutions to the complex challenges facing the industry today. On the IOC side, this year’s exhibiting companies include oil majors such as BP, Shell and ExxonMobil, while the NOC lineup includes Petronas, Saudi Aramco and Qatar Petroleum. Other exhibiting companies include service companies, such as Baker Hughes and Weatherford, and engineering and construction companies. In addition, many international organizations across the full oil and gas value chain will be represented, including organizations related to IT/security, drilling/corrosion and marine engineering.

The conference is also an opportunity for attendees to network and exchange ideas among top oil and gas professionals. “ADIPEC is unique for its ability to attract such a broad group of industry seniors to an annual event, driven by the market power of the region’s NOCs and their IOC partners,” said Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, CEO of Al Yasat Petroleum Operations Company and ADIPEC 2017 Chairman. “Nowhere else will industry professionals get such an insight into the strategic thinking guiding the industry forward, from individuals whose decisions are critical to the future of oil and gas businesses.”
