Enteq Upstream hires rotary steerable veteran Neil Bird

Enteq Upstream, an oilfield services technology and equipment supplier, has named Neil Bird as Rotary Steerable System (RSS) Product Director, ahead of the company’s launch of a new line of RSS tools. Based in Houston, Mr Bird will be responsible for the tool’s development and commercialization, with immediate priorities being static testing and field trials over the coming months. He brings more than 25 years’ operational experience in RSS and directional drilling, including tenures at Baker Hughes and Weatherford, and an international perspective from time spent in the US, UK and Middle East. Sandvik to invest in hydraulic and instrumentation tubing factory

Sandvik, a developer and producer of advanced stainless steels, special alloys, titanium and other high-performance materials, will invest in a new hydraulic and instrumentation tubing factory at its Mehsana Mill in Gujarat, western India, to meet increasing customer demand. “The Mehsana Mill is an important facility in our journey towards increasing our footprint in Asia. TWMA announces new global headquarters in Aberdeen

Specialist drilling waste management company TWMA has secured new headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland. The company is relocating its global headquarters to the Aberdeen International Business Park in Dyce. The office space has been designed to bring greater flexibility with teams together in one open-plan space. TWMA has taken an 8,050 sq ft–floor area, with approximately 60 people moving to the new office. “This move underpins our growth plans and reflects our commitment to delivering quality solutions to our customers.
