Ikon Science, a provider of geoprediction and knowledge management software and services, has launched Curate, a scalable, cloud-enabled knowledge management system designed to provide cost efficiencies along with faster and more accurate decision making. The system enables energy companies to collaborate within a single workspace to access all subsurface data with streamlined workflows. Talos still working to finalize unitization agreement for Zama offshore Mexico

The agreement will address initial tract participating interest splits between a Talos-led Block 7 consortium and Pemex. A third-party reservoir engineering firm engaged by the consortium and Pemex to evaluate initial tract participation within the Zama reservoir recently concluded that the consortium held 49.6% gross interest in the discovery.
