Brain-centric approach looks at neurological origins for human error

While the primary purpose of incident investigations is to learn and improve, this isn’t always made clear to workers on the rig, said Dr Susan Koen, Founder and CEO of RoundTheClock Resources. She also outlines a brain-centric approach to human error that looks to neurological explanations, such as the impact of fatigue on the brain, for behavior and errors.
