Industry must understand human limitations to manage human errors

Common human limitations, such as memory capacity and stress, should be considered in discussions of human error, said Andrew Dingee, Senior HSE Advisor for The Frontline Group. Mr Dingee gave the keynote address at the 2015 IADC Human Factors Conference in Galveston, Texas, on 22 October. In this video, he discusses common human limitations that can lead to errors and incidents, as well as potential strategies the industry can employ to manage these limitations.
