As operators face increasingly challenging reservoirs, conventional technologies are oftentimes becoming inefficient in safely achieving well objectives on time and on budget. To address wellbore issues in ultra-deepwater projects offshore West Africa, Weatherford worked with Repsol and Rowan Companies to provide MPD functionality to a drillship.
