IADC ART group seeks input

The IADC Advanced Rig Technology Committee is looking for a few good photos. The photos are for the IADC Technology Value Guide, which not only identifies positive and negative aspects of a wide array of drilling equipment, but also provides photographs, definitions and training providers. One can view the IADC TVG from the ART Deliverables & Additional Resources link on the ART Committee website.

IADC credits any photos provided and, for training resources, provides complimentary links to the companies’ website. Participation is open to all relevant companies.

Photos are sought for the following: upper racking arm, two- and three-arm systems, column racker/synchronized racker, dual vertical rackers, automatic mud bucket, automatic doper, offline stand building, casing stabbing arm, drill floor manipulator arm, horizontal tubular transfer (along with pipe conveyors and catwalk machines), tubular handing machine for pipe decks/racks, powered mousehole, cylinder rig, active heave compensators, mud pump synchronization, automatic relieve valves, BOP multiplex controls, downhole telemetry, driller’s chair, auto shaker control, auto mixing system, auto sack cutter, AC drives, automatic driller.
